What is TrueIP?

TrueIP is a lightweight application that helps you track your internal and external IP addresses. It uses DNS-O-Matic to retrieve your public IP address, displaying it on the main page and logging your IP change history for later analysis and review.

It can also notify you each time your IP address changes via e-mail, popup messages or various other methods. It is a portable application that runs quietly in the system tray and doesn't waste your disk space or use any of your computer's resources.

The program has several tweaking parameters that enable you to run it at Windows startup, automatically check the IP address at a user-defined time (in seconds), show or copy it when you double-click on its icon from the system tray, retrieve the external IP from a custom provider, or log the information to your local TrueIP account. It also allows you to set up notifications for IP changes and reveals a popup notification when it detects an external address change, as well as logs your external IP to a user-defined location from your PC.
